Regenerative Africa Library is a virtual library which serves as the repository and learning centre of the selected literary works to Africans and beyond.
No. We accept literary works on the areas below.
We consider literary works such as articles, poems, short stories and essays that relate to the following key areas: climate change, biodiversity loss, the just transition to low-carbon economies and societies, United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14 or 15. Note that the contents of all literary works must pertain to Africa.
Yes. Both African and non-African writers can submit their literary works as long as they are based on Africa.
The target writers include the following:
(a) Young people,
(b) "Doers" who are working non-academically in various sustainability or regenerative
fields (e.g., biodiversity conservation, regenerative Indigenous practices, solar energy,
green business, sustainable mining, and more),
(c) Academics,
(d) Those most impacted by climate change and biodiversity loss, who are often
marginalized by society and do not have an equitable voice in generating solutions,
decisions, and actions to address these crises,
(e) Grassroots groups,
(f) Others who are interested in any of the related topics.
