Abstract:
In Jarra Soma, Gambia, Anna challenges gender inequality by defying societal norms and aspiring to become a teacher. Supported by her friends, she organizes a pivotal community meeting that sparks a shift in perceptions about women’s roles, inspiring change and fostering women’s empowerment in her town.
